God Is Love The Movement was founded by Da'mon Gross and Anayah Gross in 2023 in North Carolina and later reimagined and rebranded in 2024 in Buffalo, New York after they got married.

Da'mon and Anayah first met in December of 2022, where the foundation for what would become God Is Love The Movement was unknowingly being set. At the time, Anayah had already established a brand called God Is Love Da Brand. With her vision and Da'mon’s creative direction and entrepreneurial experience, the two came together and refined the concept, ultimately renaming it God Is Love The Movement after realizing they were called to build something greater than a brand, but a movement rooted in purpose.

Rooted in both personal journey and calling, the brand was born from a shared realization that the fashion industry lacked depth, intention, and true creative expression. What began as individual paths became a unified vision. Da'mon’s entrepreneurial journey started in 2018 with his clothing brand Guice clothing, while Anayah always carried a deep passion for fashion, serving as a stylist for several years. In 2022, she made the life changing decision to leave nursing school after realizing it was not aligned with her purpose, choosing instead to fully pursue fashion.

Following that decision, Anayah continued to build her presence as a stylist, contributing to major showcases such as Buffalo Fashion Week and other creative productions. Through her eye for detail and commitment to excellence, she established herself as a creative force, which naturally aligned with Da'mon’s vision.

Having developed a passion for fashion from a young age growing up in Buffalo, Da'mon understood early the power of presentation, not just as style but as identity. Inspired by a principle passed down from his grandfather, "never look like what you’re going through", God Is Love The Movement stands on the belief that what you wear has the power to shape how you think, move, and live.

God Is Love The Movement is more than a brand. It is a movement dedicated to promoting justice, equal opportunity, and an elevated mindset. Every piece is created with intention to not only refine outward appearance but to inspire inward transformation.

Through fashion, storytelling, and community, the mission is to educate, empower, and unify individuals rooted in love and faith, building a community of like minded individuals who understand that true style begins within.
